Say Cheese!

For a while now I've wanted to get into photography as a hobby for the time being. So my dad was upgrading his DSLR and decided to be amazing as usual and give us his old one. It's a very cool Canon EOS Digital Rebel. Well, I haven't had much practice yet and I know that's what will make me better. But does anyone have any advice for an amateur? Also, I am trying out a trial version of Photoshop Elements and am looking for any advice on using that. Or if you have used/tried any other editing software, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that.



I know this picture isn't the best, but I was practicing taking and editing pictures and my most accessible models are my kids.
