Can you see what I see?

Apparently not! A while ago we noticed that Squirt was going cross-eyed sometimes. It wasn't very often or for very long, but we knew we should get his eyes checked out. I kept putting off calling the eye doctor and making up excuses like not knowing any doctors in the area. But when the kids broke my glasses I realized it was time to call!

The doctor we went to was great with Squirt. I was so pleased. He told us that Squirt is very farsighted. His eyes, in order to focus, would cross and he would see double. Eventually his brain would suppress one of the images and he would have a lazy eye. So he has cool glasses now, that he really doesn't like wearing yet. Hopefully he'll get used to them soon. Otherwise, here is a picture of my little boy looking all grown up!

He looks adorable. Tell him that Tyler, Tristan, and Uncle "Bob" all wear glasses too. Maybe that will help keep them on:)

Most people I know that do not wear glasses, wish they did, or have glasses without prescription to fit in with all the coolness. I'm glad you figured out the problem before it was too late. He looks way cute!
